All deliveries within the UK mainland are carried out by our very own experienced transport team from Saxon Furniture Ltd. As part of our exceptional service, a helpful two man uniformed team will position your new furniture in exactly the spot you'd like it to be within your home.
They'll also give you time to inspect your shiny new furniture and make sure you're happy with everything, before shaking hands and bidding you farewell.

Although our craftsman, have nimble fingers, it takes time to create sofas to the Sofas by Saxon standard. A big sofa needs a large doorway! If you think entry into your property and rooms could be tricky, we strongly advise you to contact our Transport Department on 01204 365377 to discuss access arrangements.
If we think it necessary, we can visit your home to ensure your chosen piece of furniture will fit, before we begin to make it.

How long before my sofa is ready and delivered?
Here at Sofas by Saxon, we want you to be able to enjoy your new sofa at the earliest date possible, so we aim to deliver as quickly as we can. However, it’s worth bearing in mind that, because all our furniture is handmade from scratch, it can take a little longer to deliver than a store-bought, ready-made piece. Because of this, our lead times can vary at different times of the year. However, we will always strive to keep you up to date with your order’s progress, and you can always get in touch with any queries.
We will always try our best to accommodate any particular needs you may have. Should you have a timeframe in mind or require delivery in irregular circumstances (such as a house move), let us know in advance and we will certainly try our utmost to meet any requirements when we come to finalise your furniture’s delivery date. You can always chat to our helpful team, who will be happy to talk you through the various options that are available.
What do I need to do before delivery day?
Before we deliver your sofa, it would be much appreciated if you could ensure there is a clear route to your home, so our team can transport your new piece of furniture inside safely and conveniently. It's also a good idea to measure everything up, so you know your sofa's going to fit perfectly in its new home. You can find out how to do this by reading our guide to measuring for a sofa. This will help us to make sure your furniture reaches its new home in perfect condition with no risk of damage to your property, and that you're happy with everything. Also, if there are any factors that may impact our delivery, like parking difficulties or if your flat is above ground level, it’s best to let us know in advance.

Our delivery service
At Sofas by Saxon, we’ve been handmaking our furniture for over 35 years, delivering to homes up and down the UK and abroad for just as long. Over this period, we’ve gained an unparalleled amount of experience in making sure our sofas reach their new homes swiftly and in perfect condition.
We use specialist delivery teams who are well-versed in carefully unloading and moving furniture right into the heart of your home. Your sofa will be wrapped in secure packaging and transported in lorries especially kitted-out for the job. Once they arrive, they will take care of manoeuvring it into your chosen spot, which means that you don’t have to organise any extra helpers on the day. Before they depart, our team will give you ample time to check over your sofa to ensure everything surpasses your expectations.
How do I make any remaining payments?
Because we only require a 10% deposit for all orders placed online (with the exception of orders for leather or fabric cleaning kits only), you will need to pay the balance of your account when we deliver your furniture. This can be made either by a Building Society Draft or Bankers Draft, which should be made payable to "Saxon Furniture Limited".
If you'd like to pay the balance of your account by personal cheque, we must have received this at least seven days before the due delivery date of your furniture, in order to allow time for the payment to clear. Please make your personal cheque payable to "Saxon Furniture Limited".
For balance payments made by debit/credit card, this will be debited 5 days prior to the delivery of your furniture.
Payment on Finance
Saxon Furniture offer Interest Free Credit* through Novuna Personal Finance.
Sale prices are available on 10 Months Interest Free Credit*. A 10% deposit is required with the outstanding balance payable over 10 equal instalments.
Non Sale prices are available on 30 Months Interest Free Credit**. A 10% deposit is required with the outstanding balance payable over 30 equal instalments.
Finance applications can be either made by telephoning 01204 368413 or completing our interest free application form online when ordering.
When the finance has been approved the order will be confirmed in writing together with the date of delivery week.
The required deposit will be requested at this time.
Prior to the delivery week you will receive the relevant finance documents for you to read and sign.
You will then be advised of the exact delivery day by our Transport department.
When the goods have been delivered the signed finance agreement is handed to the driver in exchange for the goods.
The first of the relevant equal monthly payments will then be deducted by Direct Debit approximately ONE MONTH AFTER RECEIPT of the goods and continue on a monthly basis for the term of the agreement.
*Credit Example ~ 10 Months Interest Free: Cash price £1000, £100 deposit, 10 monthly payments of £90 with no interest. 0% APR typical.
**Credit Example ~ 30 Months Interest Free: Cash price £1000, £100 deposit, 30 monthly payments of £30 with no interest. 0% APR typical.
In the unlikely event of a return
We are happy to accept the return of non-faulty Goods; subject to the following conditions:
If you wish to return non-faulty Goods, you must notify us within 28 days of delivery, by email at email@example.com or by telephone or by letter.
The Goods must not have been made bespoke to your requirements.
A bespoke order is one which has been made especially for the customer to a specific size, and which does not feature as a standard item within our website or sales literature. Orders made with fabrics supplied by the customer are classed as personalised.
Providing these conditions are satisfied we will either exchange the goods or make a refund.
In the case of an exchange, any price adjustments will be made as per the price list that was relevant at the time of the original order. A delivery charge will apply to the re-delivery.
In the case of a refund, we will arrange to collect the goods and refund the total amount of monies paid, less the delivery charge, and less a collection charge which will be equal to that of the original delivery charge.
If a personalised order is cancelled prior to delivery, we reserve the right to withhold some or all of monies already paid to cover any costs incurred up to that point.
